How Long/Short It Should Be

I was attending a seminar. There was a participant who raised a question.

He spoke.

I went to the ladies room, queued, washed my hands, and out. Later I met a friend and told him that a friend had been in hospital. Then I went in.

And he still spoke…eh???

I sat down.

And he still spoke.

I exchanged notes with people who sat next to me and commented how long the question was.

And he still spoke.

We finished gossiping about how long he spoke.

And he still spoke.

On and on and on and on….

Ah eventually he found his full stop back.

Did I know what his point was? No

Did my friends know his point was? No
